From the M6 exit at junction 31, take the A 59 for Clitheroe.

After about 1 mile, move into right hand lane of dual carriageway. At first roundabout (by the Salmesbury Hotel, formerly called the Swallow Hotel - a white building on the left - and a filling station on the other side) double back onto A59 and just past filling station turn left at the at the traffic lights onto B6230 signposted Walton-le-Dale (Cuerdale Lane).

The venue is the first building on the right.

Note: not to be confused with Samlesbury Hall, which is further along the A677.

Chris Mortimer has kindly agreed to open his garden to NW Group members in aid of NGS. Please book via Mary.

NGS events at Jacqui Iddon's garden, Hazelwood, Bretherton.
Admission £3.50. You can prebook on line at www.ngs.org.uk garden reference “Hazelwood” or pay at the gate. There will also be plants for sale and cards made by Tilly.

In addition, the garden is open every Wednesday and Thursday afternoon 1-5pm ( £3.50)
Sunday 20 June, 1-4 pm Celebration of 20 years in the Garden at Hazelwood,
On arrival you will be greeted with a complimentary glass of Pimm’s to enjoy on your exploration of the 1.5 acre garden which includes a veg patch, wildlife pond, art gallery and much more!
Tea, coffee and homemade scones with cream and strawberries will also be served

Due to heavy rain conditions expected on Sunday 22 August 2021 the Samlesbury Hall Management Team have decided to postpone this event. They hope to arrange a new date and get in touch again as soon as possible. We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused.
